With the help of Robert's parents, Robert was around racing at birth; do to his father owning race cars since the early 60's. Robert's father built cars and had others drive for him in central Indiana. Winning so much he could fill a trophy room. Robert began racing street stock cars at the age of 16. As he was growing, so was his desire to go faster. Robert had become more than a young boy racing in Indiana. His talent as a driver coupled with his magnetic personality had made him a fan favorite. He raced on all types of tracks in Indiana. Kokomo Speedway. Gas City, Montpellier.
Robert has raced in many different forms of race cars, from street stocks, Modifieds, crate late models, and the latest 600 mini sprints.
His early accomplishments include many heat wins. Robert was a consistently strong competitor in every event they competed in, with many top five and top ten finishes. Robert ran a limited schedule due to lack of sponsorship funds. When the Team did race, they were very competitive and made all of the shows they competed in.
Robert has worked as a mechanic and crew member on a A.S.A. and NASCAR - All- Pro teams. Based out of Indianapolis, In area.
Then Robert got remarried and Moved to the Mid South. Based in and around Memphis, Tn is where Robert is trying to make his racing career start again.
In 2007, Robert and the Team decided to try 600 mini sprints. Racing at Riverside Speedway in West Memphis, Ar, a fast 1/4 high bank tracks. Robert started the season that was already half way done, and finished 12th in points out of 36 cars. That alone speaks for it's self.
